She was born in Galati on the 20th of March in a humble family. She came in this world singing on a Saturday at 12.30 p.m.
At the age of nine she will learn to play the classical guitar with the music teacher Vasile Coltea.
She first showed herself in public at fourteen years old, and then she used to sing a lot in the bathroom.
She studied light music with the teacher Titel Popovici in Iasi and in this town she will win the first prize in 1987, the music contest “Flori de tei”. Then, other prizes will come: the second prize at “The Golden Ship” festival in 1989.
At nineteen years old she had a job at “Nae Leonard Theatre” in Galati. She met there Captain MIHAI TONU, and this wonderful MAN helps her not to be shy and suspicious. He gives her the courage to fight and win.
She will learn with him to perform and make a vocal technique. He was at the same time a teacher, conductor, inventor, a performance sportsman – it’s aquatic motor, motor boats and finally a composer.
Other prizes will come for Diana.
1990 – The First Prize at “Mihaela Runceanu” Festival in Bucharest
1991 – The prize of the magazine “Totusi IUBIREA”, the first prize and trophy at the International Festival – Bucharest 1991 and the TROPHY at the rendition section.
In 1991, in autumn, she will release the song “My love song” at the contest show “One song from one hundred” which had a great success.
In 1993, that MAN, named MIHAI TONU, introduced her to Iulian Baiasu, a well known teacher of classical vocal music at The National University of Music in Bucharest, who taught her a new vocal technique.
The same year she arrived for the first time on the Japanese land. Italy comes next, in 1997.
In 2000 she will be admitted at The NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF MUSIC IN BUCHAREST.
She tried to sing jazz too – in 2003 she performs in Art Jazz Club (from March to June) and Green Hours in September.
In 2007 she graduates The University with a graduation paper.
At present she’s a music teacher, a singer of good music, a professional and she’s working to a new album named “Dream”.
